The shed is located on the grounds of the La Voie Lactée Farm in Aywaille. It belongs to an association of land owners who actively promote biological farming methods and new forms of economic collaboration.

The need for a cow shelter with room for hay and straw led to the design of an open shed with a hay loft. The building is partly built into a hill and is adjacent to a big barn which hasn’t been built yet. In the upper level is the small hay loft.
The ground floor is masonry and supports an upper level construction of native larch wood, which has also been used for the facade and roof cladding.
